Challenges of Implementing XP in a Large Company
The challenges facing a team of XP coaches, including myself, at a large US financial institution seem endless. We have commitment to XP from the VP of Development, but his organization has been implementing XP in an extremely limited, chaotic fashion. The organization outside of Development, particularly upper management, believes that the Development has been implementing XP and failing to deliver, so XP is getting a bad reputation at this company.
